AZURA | Azure × Lagoon
AZURA combines Azure and Lagoon, imagining “water in the desert” as the core idea of the masterplan. A flowing water vein extends from the lagoon, weaving through architecture, landscape, terraces, and public spaces to create a new urban oasis within the arid landscape of Las Vegas.
Fluid movement and water flow shape the spatial experience. Ramps, terraces, and landscapes guide visitors through a continuous journey, connecting the lagoon, sunken plaza, hotel, casino, retail, dining, and public spaces into one integrated environment.
Two elliptical volumes form the development’s central landmarks, inspired by the circular movement of a roulette wheel. The casino and shopping mall anchor this core, while the circular geometry radiates outward into the podium, landscape, and hotel tower.
The hotel façade abstracts the fine grid of the roulette wheel, creating depth, rhythm, and changing reflections through its horizontal and vertical composition.
AZURA transforms the flow of water and the rotation of the roulette wheel into two dynamic forces—one guiding movement, the other expressing the energy of Las Vegas—creating a desert oasis shaped by water and driven by motion.
