The site is located at the junction between Neihu and Xinyi districts, entering Nangang, making it an important gateway to the eastern district. As a key transportation hub, commercial offices are placed along the street, continuing the commercial activities on the street and revitalizing the business environment. Residential functions are set along the street blocks, with an opening in the middle that breaks up the building mass while creating an entrance image.

The cut in the building mass serves as the entrance image of the site, and the separation of volumes gives the façade design different possibilities. The commercial space below acts as a connection between the two masses, adding layers to the design. 

The prosperity of the commercial area transitions into a peaceful and leisurely residential environment, moving from public to private living spaces while maintaining the distinct characteristics of each area.
