The design of the building takes into account both functional requirements and spatial considerations. By carefully measuring the available space, flat floors are strategically arranged to create intriguing spatial layers. The corners of the floors extend like a wingspan, breaking the solidified shape of the building and adding visual interest.

Internally, the functions are organized in a series with flowing lines to maximize the efficiency of medical services. Wards are partitioned effectively to reduce noise and maintain the privacy of patients. Public areas such as terraces, visitor areas, and family waiting areas are staggered, allowing for the introduction of natural light and greenery, which can help alleviate stress.

The building's configuration axis aligns with the First Medical Building, maintaining the traditional image and showcasing its special status. Despite being the tallest building on the campus, it maintains connectivity with the entire Rongzong Hospital grounds, preserving the overall integrity of the area.

Situated in the northern corner of the courtyard on a sloping site, the design takes advantage of the front and rear layers to introduce natural scenery without creating visual pressure. It responds to the surrounding buildings and fosters a harmonious environment, ensuring minimal impact on the courtyard landscape.

The shape and volume of the building are carefully coordinated with the surrounding area, ensuring a symbiotic relationship between the scale of the outdoor spaces and the building's volume. This approach prevents any abrupt visual contrasts and maintains a cohesive skyline.

To avoid visual conflicts with the surrounding environment, given the large volume of the building, a sense of proportion and order is incorporated into the facade design. A sculptural frame adorns the façade, providing decoration and adding strength to the originally massive volume. The shape of the top plate further exhibits a sense of robustness and solidity, creating a visually striking appearance.

The design considers functionality, spatial aesthetics, connectivity, and harmony with the surroundings, resulting in a building that integrates seamlessly into its environment while fulfilling its purpose as a medical facility.
